Africycle

Africycle is helping meet the mobility needs of people living in Malawi, Africa. A grassroots organization, Africycle engages communities across Canada to collect and recycle bicycles that become a valuable mode of transportation for people living in one of the poorest countries in the world. By creating access to better quality and affordable bicycles, we are improving access to clean water, markets, health care, education and jobs.

How we helped

LUSH funding supported the costs of purchasing and shipping a container of bicycles and spare parts and tools to Malawi, Africa.
