Ancient Forest Alliance
The Ancient Forest Alliance (AFA) is a British Columbian organization working to protect the endangered old-growth forests of BC and to ensure sustainable forestry jobs in the province. It was founded in January of 2010 by former Western Canada Wilderness Committee activists Ken Wu, TJ Watt and Vancouver old-growth activist Michelle Connolly.
How we helped
LUSH helped to fund a public outreach campaign which included wilderness trips to educate the public about the impacts of old growth logging in BC. This campaign will further the efforts to protect the last remaining stands of ancient forest in BC.
