AYUDA

AYUDA is a community based organization that was established in 1977. Our mission is « to help improve the lives of children and families who are underserved and/or at risk in South Florida through education, life skills training and programs that support self-sufficiency ». Since its establishment AYUDA has served 145,000 children, adolescence, adults, and elderly. The agency has flourished as a Miami Dade Resource Center offering different programs and service to prevent abuse and neglect and provide basic human services to our community.

How we helped

This is the first year that we are receiving Lush donation. Through this project we will be able to prevent child neglect and abuse and provide parenting skills. On the long term this will mean less youth likely to commit crimes.
