CSNW is a chimpanzee sanctuary located on a 26 acre farm east of Seattle. It was founded in 2003 to provide sanctuary for chimpanzees discarded from the entertainment and biomedical testing industries. It is the goal of CSNW to not only provide sanctuary for chimpanzees, but to end the use of great apes in entertainment and facilitate collaboration to continuously improve the care of captive chimpanzees.
