The Clean Air Coalition

The Clean Air Coalition is an environmental health and justice organization that organizes in and around Buffalo, NY. They focus on building power by educating and developing citizens to become grassroots leaders who organize their communities. Clean Air and its members run and win campaigns to reduce emissions from industrial polluters and dirty diesel trucks, and increase residents’ influence on decisions that affect their lives.

How we helped

Charity Pot supported the Just Transitions: Good Jobs and Healthy Communities conference in New York in June 2014 focusing on a just transition of the NRG Huntley Coal plant for the local economy.
