Climate Disobedience Center

Climate Disobedience Center serves as a catalyst for direct action, creating points of vivid moral clarity, emboldening both climate activists and the unlikeliest of allies to capture the heart and soul of the climate debate. Our team provides logistical, legal and spiritual resources, on the ground assistance, and advice to climate activists engaged in civil disobedience. We are committed to supporting climate dissidents through their legal processes and the consequences of taking principled action. We offer these resources in order to nurture strong, grounded communities of resistance willing to take risks of moral imagination.

How we helped

This donation from Lush adds resources to Climate Disobedience Center support for oil train resistance in the Northeastern United States, including organizing for and resourcing the Break Free from Fossil Fuels regional action that occured in Albany, NY on May 14, 2016.
