HOMEF is an ecological think tank and advocacy organization working in Nigeria but keeping an Africa focus. HOMEF bridges the gap between policy/decisions made by governments and the actual needs at the grassroots.

HOMEF elevates grassroots voices and action in environmental advocacy keeping in view that global crises impact local situations and have systemic roots. HOMEF recognizes that current paradigms of development and growth lead to the critical destruction of biodiversity and livelihoods. HOMEF campaigns against false solutions to climate change, dependence on fossil fuels and the destructive extraction of natural resources as well as dependency on risky technologies.
