Humanity for Horses

Humanity for Horsesis a nonprofit organization devoted to providing safety to animals and rescuing thoroughbred horses. They rescue horses from slaughter, abuse, neglect and abandonment, providing them sanctuary for the rest of their life. Their goal is to rescue 144 horses along with any other animals that come with them. As of 2012, they have rescued 43 horses.

How we helped

LUSH donated money towards helping the Humanity for Horses campaign against horse slaughter in the USA, where a law has been passed making horse slaughter legal.
