Idle No More SF Bay is a volunteer multi-generational grassroots organization dedicated to doing all we can do to ensure the future of coming generations by mitigating climate chaos caused by corporate extreme energy, including fossil fuel and nuclear energy. We sponsor an annual Bay Area Refinery Corridor Walk in coalition with other groups, coordinate non-violent direct actions, pray, teach one another and others, and make art for use in our actions. First Nations' Idle No More inspires our work and our perspective.
How we helped
We are very grateful for the donation from Lush Charity Pot that has funded promotional and art materials for our 2015 Bay Area Refinery Corridor Walks and will provide crucial support during the walks. These funds have allowed our organization of grassroots volunteers to organize the only walks in California from refinery to refinery, highlighting the issues that impact refinery communities, the greater Bay Area and the world. Leadership by Native people has educated others about traditional ways and expanded the circle of people of all backgrounds committed to fighting climate change and
providing a better world for the next generations.
