The Ocean Legacy Foundation

The Ocean Legacy Foundation uses interactive on-line Hotspot mapping, initiates and supports international expeditions, provides research, education and innovative technologies to combat plastic pollution. These tools create a unique and world leading approach to catalyze and strengthen a global network that can remediate and manage some of the most plastic polluted areas in the world. Our long term vision is to provide financial and organizational support to communities that do not have the necessary provisions to develop their own sustainable waste management strategies and infrastructure.

How we helped

With the donations given by the Lush Charity Pot we are able to remove tons of plastic pollution from the natural environment, and develop education by engaging communities with our table top plastic to oil conversion unit. This funding has given The Ocean Legacy Foundation a great opportunity to create a larger impact in the ocean health of our local BC community as well as strengthen our international presence around sustainable waste management strategies.
