Pathways Togo

Pathways Togo believes that all women are entitled to an education and that women’s education is key to unlocking society’s full potential. Research links women’s education to advances in economic and social development and improved health status. However, a secondary education is a distant dream for most Togolese girls. By removing barriers to girls' education from middle school through university and equipping women with the skills and support they need to become leaders in their society, Pathways Togo hopes to make a just and sustainable contribution to Togo’s development.

How we helped

The donation from the Lush foundation will enable Pathways Togo to improve support for our university level scholars through enhanced career counseling, internship opportunities, skill building, and community service and leadership awards. These activities are instrumental in helping Pathways Togo scholars secure jobs and go on to contribute to the development of their society.
