Protect the Sacred
"The Gathering to Protect the Sacred From the Tar Sands and Keystone XL" is a historical event that brings together First Nations leaders and activists, environmentalists, business leaders and other interested parties. The goal is to educate attendees on tar sands and oil pipeline issues and formulate a treaty agreement and campaign strategy aimed at stopping the further development of the tar sands and oil pipelines.
How we helped
Funds from Charity Pot supported delegates in attending the Keystone XL Gathering and International Unity Treaty and Agreement in 2013, in order to oppose the KXL pipeline.
