Rights Action
Since 1995, Rights Action has been involved in activism aimed at the economic, military and political relationships in Guatemala and Honduras. Rights Action supports local groups, focusing on defending indigenous rights, providing aid to victims of political violence, poverty relief, legal aid and sustainable development and environmental issues, particularly around mining operations.
How we helped
Funds from Charity Pot supported Rights Action’s work to strengthen the Environmental Defence Committee of Siria Valley, a group working in five mining-harmed areas to assist community members affected by mining operations.
