Safe Humane Chicago

Safe Humane Chicago Lifetime Bonds, Safe Humane Chicago's program for teenagers and young adults, provides at-risk youth and at-risk dogs opportunities to help one another. Youth learn how to care for, socialize and train shelter dogs. They develop confidence and respect for both people and animals, and give shelter dogs a better chance at adoption. Once comfortable, the youth will deliver Safe Humane Chicago messaging to other at-risk youth with the goal of eliminating violence associated with dog fighting and animal abuse.

How we helped

LUSH has donated funds to Safe Humane Chicago to assist with its operational costs. With our support, Safe Humane Chicago continues to help both youth and dogs and works to break the cycle of violence surrounding dog fighting.
