Safe Place for Youth

Safe Place for Youth (SPY) offers trauma-informed care, positive youth development and low-barrier programs in an effort to engage homeless youth in West Los Angeles into a continuum of supportive services. SPY uses a therapeutic approach that's responsive to the developmental needs of youth helping young people build trust and a stronger sense of self. Ultimately, through case management, health services, education and employment counseling, street outreach and drop-in services, SPY seeks to empower homeless youth to regain control over their lives.

How we helped

Lush's donation will greatly increase our overall capacity to effectively serve the homeless youth of West Los Angeles by covering the costs of six essential trainings for our case management team and education and employment pathways team, as well as case management and street outreach program fees. The donation also ensures Safe Place for Youth's ability to provide vital services regularly and to the best of our ability to those most in need.
