Seattle Against Slavery

Seattle Against Slavery (SAS) is a grassroots coalition working to make a slave-free world, one city at a time. Uniting community-based abolition activists, local and national non-government organizations, government agencies and other coalitions, SAS seeks to raise awareness about human trafficking and mobilize the public to better advocate for victims, enhance survivor care, promote legislation to combat human trafficking and help service providers build capacity. Our mission is to foster collaboration in the fight against human trafficking through education, advocacy and mobilization.

How we helped

Lush's contribution helps prevent trafficking of youth by allowing us to provide materials and training coordination for education programs in Washington high schools. With these programs, SAS goes directly to young people at risk and teaches them how to keep others safe and make sure they are never exploited.
