Supporting Kids in Peru (SKIP)

Peru’s public education system is not free and many parents are not able to afford to send their children to school. SKIP works in an impoverished district of Trujillo, Peru, with a diverse team of teachers, social workers, psychologists, economic development workers and other volunteers. The group provides school fees, uniforms and materials to over 350 children each year. SKIP also provides a variety of support programs and microfinance loans for the student’s parents.
