Swan Center Outreach
The mission of Swan Center Outreach is to provide a safe and loving environment for previously abused and neglected animals. They offer programs to the general public that demonstrate the educational, therapeutic and spiritual value of a loving relationship with animals. The programs are designed to increase personal awareness, promote effective communication, time management, a strong work ethic and collaboration and leadership skills to prepare children and adults for life's challenges.
How we helped
LUSH funds provided 50 financially disadvantaged children the opportunity to attend a day camp, where they learned the basics of caring for horses and developed leadership skills. LUSH also contributed to installing handicap access ramps and decks that allow children with physical disabilities to mount the horses.
