The Child Soldier Initiative

The Child Soldiers Initiative (CSI) is a project founded by Lt-Gen Romo Dallaire (ret'd) operating out of Dalhousie University. CSI is working to build the tools, knowledge, collaboration and will necessary to eradicate the recruitment and use of child soldiers through research, capacity building and advocacy.

How we helped

LUSH funds went towards a conference held in Halifax on the topic of Girl Soldiers. This conference brought together ex-girl soldiers, policy makers and students to help inform policy around working with girl soldiers abroad.
