Located in Illinois, The Garden Works Project is a grass-roots, volunteer-led project working to relieve hunger by providing individuals and families in need with vegetable gardens and coaching. The Garden Works Project helps families who would otherwise not be able to grow their own food because of financial need, a disability, or advanced age. The Garden Works Project provides everything families need, from a raised garden bed to seeds/seedlings to gardening tools, along with volunteer coaches to enable the families to raise fresh produce.
