The Toxic Taters Coalition
The Toxic Taters Coalition is comprised of Native and non-Native rural people living near the potato fields of central and northern Minnesota who have been impacted by pesticide contamination, an environmental, economic, and health issue that will affect our communities for generations to come. Through our experience and a recognition that we are all learners, teachers, and leaders, we work to build alliances with family farmers, environmental organizations, health professionals and groups interested in health, sustainability, labor, and others to address pesticide contamination. We believe corporate profits should not come at the cost of the well-being of communities and ecosystems.
