All Good Things cousin.

Denver, CO | 6 days ago

I used to love All Good Things parfum a lot but it was discontinued. I went in to lush to see if I could find something similar to it. I tried a few, but when I smelled this one it made me grin from ear to ear. It smelled exactly like All Good Things! I was so excited! When I got home I pulled out my solid of All Good Things. I would definitely say that AGT has more of a smokey smell than this one, where as this one rely's more on sweetness. If you loved AGT you'll most likely love this one. Smells about 95% the same! 10/10 would recommend

This perfume is one of the most interesting, complex smelling perfumes I've ever smelled. I have the solid and the spray, and I think the spray interacts better with my body chemistry. PROS: It is a complex and yummy vanilla scent. YES it is sweet, but it's a complex sweet and I love it. It's also not a gourmand perfume. When I tested this perfume while perusing Lush and Anthropologie (pre-COVID) I kept getting delicious whiffs of this perfume. The lovely lush employee told me that it smells lighter on my skin. Its scent is honestly kind of intoxicating. I love it, even if my husband thinks it smells like mold. CONS: Both have a strong pine smell on my skin so idk what's going on with that. The pine smell is my only reason for not giving this perfume 5 stars. I don't personally enjoy the pine smell (I actually hate it), so I do a few things to avoid it. I spray the perfume on the inside of my forearm closer to the elbow then warm the perfume up by immediately (and quickly) rubbing my forearms together. This perfume smells best when it's warmed up, so it's not the type of perfume that I'd personally spray my clothing or hair with. ALSO! When testing the perfume, it smelled peppery but I haven't experienced the same peppery smell since that initial wear. I am bummed by this. My husband also thinks this perfume smells like mold (asking 'are you wearing your mold perfume?' whenever he gets whiffs of it), which i think is a con for him? I'm not sure where to sort that information. I wouldn't recommend this perfume unless they take it for a test drive without purchasing it because it seems to smell extremely different depending on body chemistry, how/where you apply it, etc. It also seems to be a divisive perfume.

i'm big on using products not tested on animals and sustainably sourced, so when my last perfume by another co. ran out, i decided to try one of lush's. i really love having a stronger scented perfume (i have allergies and can't smell well at all *bummed face 4 lyfe* ), and this one was perfect. well, alllmost - if they could find a way to make a naked solid or refill (no plastic, tho), it'd be absolutely perfect. oh, and matching soaps that are also naked ;) i want the gel but won't let myself cave on the plastic part.

Don't be fooled by the wet smell or in the bottle cap sniff. Once this gets on your skin and dries it smells exactly like the shower cream and bath bomb. Musky, spicy vanilla. I love layering this one with the shower cream! Thank you so much for making this product, I will be buying this for years to come

The Lord of Misrule bath bomb is my favorite scent ever. I bought this online without smelling it in a store first, and it's definitely way more powdery smelling with less spice. I still like it and will use it but I don't think I'd buy it again. Definitely recommend checking it out IRL first.

I love Lord of Misrule but the perfume is surprisingly heavy on a weird pine scent. It reminds me of the Scentsicle's I put on my fake tree at Christmas. I don't get any of the spice/pepperiness that I love in the bath bomb. Just a sickeningly sweet pine and patchouli number.

I have been obsessed with LOM for years and years. I always had a bottle of it in my shower and a bath bomb at hand. I wished for a fragrance or spray, and always managed to miss the limited releases of them, so I found myself frustrated. Especially when they took the shower cream away and I moved into a place with mo bath tub. But FINALLY, here it is. I bought a massive bottle and the solid immediately and I'm absolutely overjoyed. Please please please keep this around for good. It's my favorite scent ever!

Heavy on the vanilla

I love Lord of Misrule, I use the body wash every day. Recieved the perfume as a gift for Christmas, I thought for sure I had found my new favourite scent to wear. I unfortunately fund the perfume to be nothing like the body wash. While the body wash has more of a unisex earthy smell, I find the perfume to be quite more feminine and the vanilla to be really overpowering of the other scents. I really wanted to love the perfume.

The smell of Christmas in an old castle.

Warm, elegant and a slightly sweet. Vanilla and patchouli are prominent to my nose. The black pepper is not overt, it just lends a gentle, dry spicness. A great winter holiday scent. One of the more long-lasting lush scents for sure and one of the best scents they've ever created.

The first scent of Lush I ever experienced was a Lord of Misrule bath bomb. I hoped some day more products with this scent would be created.. and here, 5 years later, my dreams came true! The perfume is heavier on the black pepper, but it calms down in a couple of hours. I don't mind at all! Definitely only use 1-2 sprays. It is strong! I used it yesterday at 11am and still received compliments at 6pm when giving friends hugs goodbye. I don't smell it this morning, so I would guess it lasts a day - which is fine for me as I only use perfume for fun nights out anyway. LUSH - Thank you for making my dreams come true!! Please continue to keep this scent on a regular basis as many of us are obsessed.
