Strong Herbal Smell but SO Worth It

Bakersfield, CA | 6 days ago

I absolutely love H'Suan Wen Hua. I had been trying to grow my hair back down to my butt for 7 years, with no results. Then a co-worker mentioned Lush. They recommended H'Suan Wen Hua and Roots. My hair has grown an immense amount since I've started using these and I love the compliments regarding my hair now. The smell is strong and weird but you get used to it. And the best thing, the second you walk into a store and attempt to pronounce the name, the employees know exactly which product you're talking about.

The Buckley's of hair products

Toronto | 9 days ago

I've tried this hair treatment both ways, applied to dry hair, and applied to wet hair after shampooing. My personal preference is to shampoo first, apply this, step out of the shower to allow it to sit for 20-30 mins and then I rinse it out. When applied to wet hair, I can use a lot less of if. I AM SO INLOVE!! I find myself staring in the mirror a lot now. I also use roots, and since using both of these my hair seems thicker or heavier, which is nice because I've had fine hair my whole life. I call it the Buckley's of hair products because it smells awful in the pot, but it works. Once it's rinsed out it kinda smells like a gingerbread cookie or pumpkin pie which is pleasant. My hair was already healthy and nice, but this just boosts it by ALOT. I didn't think my hair could get any better. I don't really have any bad hair days anymore between washes and I wash my hair maybe once or twice a week. I seriously hope they never discontinue this because I will use this stuff for ever.

My new weekly go to!

Milwaukee, Wi | 13 days ago

This mask is amazing!! I love that it smells like chai and get a lot of compliments that I smell good the day I use it on my hair!! It has also made my hair feel light and soft! Not weighed down that I usually feel! It says to leave in for 20 mins and then shampoo and condition out but sometimes I leave it in for longer and nothing bad has happened! My scalp and hair feel soft and moisturized and I now use this weekly!! Just try it because I was a little hesitant and have never been wowed before until now!! I was just looking to spend a gift card and get some fun stuff when I bought this. Best decision ever! I didn't even know I needed it until I tried it!

Smells Like Pumpkin Pie!

Ft. Lauderdale | 1 month ago

Although I really liked this, I personally wasn't wowed. I definitely think it works, but I have tried other Lush hair products that I am wowed by (R&B). This is a different product, but I think I will try Roots next time. For reference I have fine, straight hair, lots of it, but it's starting to thin at the crown in my mid 40's. I use this on this upper middle part of my hair and below and not at the roots. This product is not heavy or oily, and smells like a straight up pumpkin pie with added cloves.

Gives me a headache

Canada | 2 months ago

This product works, but it smells like something you've never smelled before, but not in a good way. Others can smell it from far away and it is a lingering smell. I would not use it again but only because it gives me a headache. I absolutely love most if not all of the lush products but this one just didn't give me the full "Lush experience"

I have extremely fine hair and this does not weigh it down at all. It is a weekly "treatment" but I'm using as a regular conditioner with an every 2 to 3 day wash. My hair was dry, brittle, breaking and just blah. This product brought it back to life and the smell is freaking AMAZING!!!

No big difference

Alhambra, CA | 2 months ago

I would compare the smell of this product to what I would imagine carrot cake batter to smell like. I've used it 2 or 3 times and haven't noticed a huge difference in my hair but I might need to be more consistent with it.

I recommend this to everyone

Fort Dodge, IA | 2 months ago

I have nice hair but I don't wash it often, which causes it to get dry and blah. While shopping for a birthday gift in lush a store employee overheard me say to my boyfriend, "I wonder if they have anything for dry hair." Minutes later I was buying something I knew nothing about with a weird name I still can't pronounce, my boyfriend annoyed at me spending money yet again. Fast forward to the first time I used it and now suddenly my hair is like a freaking goddess. That same boyfriend plays with my hair constantly and even offers to pay for this. I've even heard him telling people about this "new hair stuff" I've been using. I'm just telling you, whoever is reading this, to try it. You owe it to yourself... You deserve goddess hair.
