Macadamia Ternifolia (also called the Queensland nut) is a tropical evergreen tree native to the coastal rainforests of Australia. The eminent Australian botanist, Baron Ferdinand von Mueller, named it after Scottish chemist, John Macadam (1827 – 1865).
