A concrete is extracted from the Urtica urens plant, and is further distilled using ethanol to create the absolute. It's often used as an astringent, to balance skin and help scalp and hair problems.
Our nettle absolute comes from dwarf or annual nettle - it looks similar to the stinging nettle but is smaller with long stems and small, soft green leaves covered in tiny hairs and small flowers.
