Fresh Sage Infusion

Sage has a fresh, herbal aroma. It's a shrubby evergreen herb belonging to the mint family, with branched stems and wrinkled, velvety, grey-green leaves. Spikes of violet, purple, pink or white flowers appear in summer, attracting bees with their abundant nectar. To create a sage infusion, we steep the leaves in boiling water.
