Comforting and fruity
We use cassis absolute to give a deep, fruity, homey and tantalizing aroma to our products. Different essential oils can be blended with it to bring out fruity, sweet, bitter or woody notes.
Cassis, or blackcurrant absolute, is extracted through solvent extraction from the buds of the blackcurrant bush. It's a thick, greenish paste with a strong blackcurrant aroma.
