Used to be great

I'm not sure if Lush has toned down the perfume (so we buy the layering products) or the bar had been sitting out too long, but I replenished my supply a few weeks ago and this time it just didn't have that heady aroma. My bathroom used to smell heavenly. On the bright side, I can save $20 each bar and get something else..

Couldn't smell Rose's just vanilla

I don't care for large petals in my soap. They clog the drain and stain if not rinsed away. This soap has more of a vanilla smell, but not rose.

My whole bathroom smells like heaven!!!

My favorite favorite favorite from the soap bars. Really good at hydrating my skin, cleansing and I get the smell on my skin for the whole day. I love it!

I don't get the negative comments about this soap, I think it's fantastic! My sample has lasted me so long, I feel like it goes a long way. The formula is moisturizing and velvety. The fact that the bar is the slightest bit squishy is amusing and appealing to me. Rose smell is generally not a fav of mine, it's always so strong, but not with this - it is not a mildly scented soap, but the smell is sweet and delicious. I'll be honest, I think it's the only bar soap fragrance I actually like from Lush. All the other ones are TOO something for me. The petals do not bother me, perhaps because I rub the soap on my body from the side or bottom of the bar, not the top where all the petals are... That just seems to be the most logical method, not to scrub your body with a sheet of petals, expecting them to not come off on you (lol). When one occasionally comes off, it rinses right down to the drain catcher, so not a big deal for me at all (or I would just pluck them off the bar). Some complained about not feeling clean because of the color ...okay, well that's your thing, whatever, but I don't have any qualms with the burgundy color (it is not truly brown as some reviews suggest, it does not look like mud). I have dry skin and I feel like this does a good job combatting that, or at least not drying it out more. I feel like I have seem improvement. Bottom line, feels so nice and smells even better!

This soap is overpriced and awful - save your $

If I could give this negative stars, I would. I love the scent of the rose jam shower gel so I was excited to try this soap, which the sales staff in a California store recommended to me while I was on vacation there. I bought the smallest bar in the store and it was $11, which I thought was a lot but I wanted to try it. The first time I used it, the petals and other debris came off the bar and got all over me and my shower. I had to clean the shower floor after I was done with my shower. The soap is brownish in color, so it looks like you are spreading dirt or mud on yourself. And after all that, I did not notice any lingering fragrance. I wish I could return it!

in LOVE with this smell

The smell of this soap is beyond lovely, and the argan oil makes it so softening on the skin. I use as hand soap in my bathroom and I can tell the difference in my skin when I run out and use liquid soap. This keeps my hands soft through repeated hand washing - a must have. I need to get another bar for the shower!

Obsessed

This soap is decadent. The lather is thick and powerful leaving my skin smelling fresh, soft, and so clean. I love that the scent stays with me throughout the day but isn't overpowering. Word of advice - This stuff melts pretty quickly so a little goes a long way. Keep it dry when not in use or else your money will literally go down the drain.

Classy and heady aroma and lasts forever

This smells heavenly, classy rose - not chep - and the scent lingers so my bathroom smells wonderful all the time. I bought the body spray in Rose Jam and plan to buy the perfume version. The other thing is that this soap lasts, so the price tag doesn't hurt as much.

Absolute Bath Necessity

This is probably my favorite soap, bar none. I'm allergic to sulfur, and this soap is gentle on my skin and leaves me feeling great. It's kinda hard to suds up because it's so soft, but it's got a beautiful fragrance. The rose petals are a bit much in my opinion, but I can see why they have em. Really expensive for the size, but it's worth a splurge

My favorite bar soap

This is probably my favorite bar soap I've tried so far, smells so good and it's super moisturizing, I had to try this one after loving the Rose Jam shower gel so much and it smells pretty similar. My only issue is the price, this one seems much cheaper than their other bar soaps so not good if you're on a budget. But if someone asked me what my favorite Lush bar soap is it would be this!
