Vegan Haircare

Finding truly vegan haircare can be something of a challenge. So if you’re looking to go completely animal product-free, we’ve rounded up a list of our favorite cruelty-free and animal-free products.

Shampoos and conditioners

We believe in creating haircare that is both vegan and effective. The result? Great plant-based products like Veganese. Instead of using lanolin (a waxy substance produced by sheep to protect their wool), we opted instead for a vegan material: seaweed. Seaweed has a wonderfully softening effect on the hair. And since seaweed works so well for skin and hair, you’ll find it in tons of our vegan products across the range.

When it comes to shampoo, most of what we make is vegan, including the majority of our shampoo bars. No matter what your hair situation is, just look for the V (for vegan) symbol you’ll be sure to find something that’ll work well for your lovely locks. And if you have curly or dry hair that prefers a more moisturizing wash, check out Avocado Co-Wash, which cleanses and conditions in just one step with fresh avocado and cocoa butter.

Styling

When it comes to styling, we have two fabulous vegan options. Dirty Styling Cream is brilliant for a sleek hold, while Sea Spray gives you textured, beachy waves with a little carrageenan extract, sea water and citrusy grapefruit oil.

Treatments

Giving hair some extra animal-free TLC doesn’t have to be a challenge either. Our vegan haircare treatments will help keep those locks and your scalp in tip-top shape. From leave-in moisturizer R&B which defines curls, to our hot oil hair treatment, Damaged, your hair will be left feeling soft and looking amazing.

And if hair color is your thing, our cruelty-free henna hair dyes will give you the rich hues you’re looking for. Each color is blended with henna, essential oils and deep-conditioning cocoa butter to keep tresses looking and feeling fabulous.

Not just haircare

We’re enormously proud of all the vegan products we’ve created, and our commitment to creating cruelty-free cosmetics that have never been tested on animals extends to everything we make.
