Created in a garden shed in 1989 by Lush Co-Founder and Product Inventor, Mo Constantine, the illustrious bath bomb has come a long way from its humble beginnings. Since its creation it has graced bathtubs in every corner of the world bringing comfort, care and play in times of need.
When is World Bath Bomb Day?
World Bath Bomb Day is celebrated annually on April 27th, marking the day we received our trademark roughly one year after inventing the first-ever bath bomb. To date, it has been 34 years of innovating over 400 designs with an average of 25 million bath bombs are sold a year—that’s one per second.
Now that’s something to celebrate!
What is World Bath Bomb Day?
Select Lush locations host bath bomb pressing parties on World Bath Bomb Day, so you can make your own bath bomb and take it home for free! Not near a Lush? We also host a live event on YouTube so Lushies can join from around the world to celebrate. For World Bath Bomb Day 2023, we were joined by performer, model and LGBTQIA2+ activist Kendall Gender for a digital party like no other!
