Each one has an expert blend of potent herbs, the finest essential oils and nourishing butters to leave your skin and hair looking and feeling their best, but there’s more to these solid inventions than their ingredients.

Environmentally friendly

When it comes to packaging, less is more. Solid products can be sold just as they are, with no packaging, making them easy on the environment. And for our products that come in bottles and pots, they’re packaged using recycled and recyclable materials, so they’re green too.

Self-preserving

Natural preservatives like salt, honey, cocoa butter, glycerin and clay keep nearly 70 percent of our products free from synthetic preservatives. The microorganisms that can grow in cosmetics need water to survive and multiply, and since solid products have little to no water, they’re naturally self-preserving.

Travel-friendly

Our solid creations can be packed up easily and taken everywhere. Lighter and smaller than bottles of liquid, solid products are compact and naturally spill-proof, making them perfect for packing in your carry-on luggage. (Plus, you’ll smell beautiful breezing through airport security!)

Long-lasting

Solid versions of your favorite products may be small, but they pack a mighty punch. Take our shampoo bars: they get a rich lather going with just two strokes on a wet head of hair and last for up to 80 washes—the equivalent of about three 8-ounce bottles of liquid shampoo. Our solid conditioners are made to last longer than their liquid counterparts, too.
